BF6 Battle Royale Launches This Week as a Free-to-Play Game Mode

Following quite some time of anticipation, the battle royale game type for BF6 is officially releasing. The latest speculation indicating its arrival would coincide with Season 1 were spot-on. Fans can access the mode starting tomorrow.

Season 1 Introducing a New Map, Style, and Weapons

In tandem with the battle royale release, the new season is also beginning. This adds a new map, a new mode, and an expanded arsenal. On top of that, Redsec is arriving. A featured trailer will go live at release, giving fans a preview of what's to come.

Complimentary Access Allows Redsec Accessible to All

Perhaps the biggest announcement is that Battlefield Redsec will be free-to-play. In the vein of popular games, you won't require to buy the main title to play. A number of gamers have already experienced alpha versions of the experience. These tests were held in Battlefield Labs, which the developers described as their most ambitious player partnership project.

The heart-pounding excitement while fighting enemy players is unique in different last-man-standing mode. It's like life or death, and you really mind if you die or survive.
Despite being a critic earlier, I'm now for the battle royale since trying it.

These initial feedback from participants have been overwhelmingly favorable. Of course, the gameplay may have evolved over the past month or two in terms of tuning and speed. However, first impressions are strong that this new mode could become a real competitor to popular games. Players are wishing that the most effective firearms from the original Battlefield 6 will carry over in the BR.
