Militiamen laugh as they move on the rear of a pick-up truck, hurrying alongside a line of several lifeless forms and driving facing the descending Sudan's sun.

"Look at all this accomplishment. Look at this instance of ethnic cleansing," one exclaims.

He grins as he directs the camera on his person and his fellow combatants, their RSF identification visible: "They shall all be killed like this."

The combatants are rejoicing over a mass killing that relief organizations suspect killed more than two thousand people in the Sudanese metropolis of el-Fasher in recent weeks.

A City Severed from the World

After maintaining the community under siege for approximately an extended period, from August the paramilitary force moved to reinforce its position and blockade the surviving residents.

Space-based imagery demonstrate that forces commenced to build a massive sand wall - a raised sand barrier - encircling the boundaries of al-Fashir, closing access routes and halting relief supplies.

During the encirclement worsened, seventy-eight people were slain in an RSF assault on a religious building on 19 September, while the United Nations reported fifty-three more were killed in aerial and cannon attacks on a displacement camp in fall.

Explicit Footage Shows Weaponless Individuals Gunned Down

In the early morning on October 26th the RSF conquered the last military strongholds and seized the main base in the community, the main facility of the 6th Infantry Division, as the army withdrew.

Among the most disturbing footage to emerge and examined depicted the aftermath of a mass killing at a university building on the west of the city, where dozens corpses were observed scattered over the area.

An older individual wearing a white tunic sat alone amongst the corpses. The man turned to gaze as a fighter equipped with a rifle proceeded along the stairs in the direction of him. pointing his firearm, the fighter fired a solitary bullet at the individual, who collapsed to the ground lifeless.

"How come is this individual still living," another militiaman shouted. "Shoot him."

Orbital photography taken on late October indicated to substantiate that shootings were also performed on the streets of the city, according to a report released by the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab.

An eyewitness who spoke said the individual had observed "multiple of our kin getting massacred - they were gathered in a single location and each one murdered."

RSF Leaders Try to Implement Damage Control

During the period that came after the atrocity, paramilitary commander acknowledged that his troops had perpetrated "atrocities" and announced the incidents would be looked into.

Among those detained was subsequent to a investigation detailing his executions. Meticulously orchestrated and produced footage published on the RSF's official social media channel reveal the individual being taken into a cell at a jail on the edges of al-Fashir.

Simultaneously, the militia and affiliated online channels began attempting to reframe the story.
