Unbowed Nancy insists he is not worried about being fired however the Parkhead faithful show fury after defeat.
The under-pressure manager stated he had no concerns about losing his job, maintaining, “The team is extremely close to a turnaround,” despite moving dangerously close to the exit with a comprehensive setback against the Ibrox side.
Another Collapse Leads to Derby Loss

Nancy highlights the fact his team play well for 45 minutes at a time. In fact, were it not for missed chances they might have been greater than 1-0 up. “I saw enough except the fact that we haven’t scored a second goal,” he said. “I accept that we lost, but I must remain objective.
“The level we had at stages was really, really, really high. That is a fact. I wouldn't say that if it was untrue. But that’s why, in terms of results, I noted it's a repeating pattern. For that reason I believe a change is coming to things turning around. Right now: small things.”
“There were plenty of positives that we did, as was the case today. But now is sustaining it. My outlook would change if it was not the case. This is why I am a big believer we’re going to be able to turn things around.”
The Rangers Boss Response
Danny Röhl was cautious about a championship push in spite of what seemed like a landmark win. “One match at a time, and we can really build up something here,” he said. “The belief in the group is immense.”
